What counts as a source
Property features come from public listings and the catalogue behind them. Regulatory context points to official sources. Operating criteria and checklists are editorial assessment proposals, not certification that each property follows a particular procedure.
Results and examples
In editorial guides, property results should be presented with a verifiable period, sample and method. Financial examples are identified as hypothetical. Revenue, operating balance and investment return have different definitions, and costs must not be counted twice.
The Portugal Active collection and individual home assessments
Homes featured in the guides are part of the Portugal Active collection. We use real photographs and property features to explain decisions about positioning, hospitality and property care. For each new owner, our team assesses the property and defines services, operating scope and responsibilities in the proposal.
Updates and corrections
Each page displays its review date. Confirm booking terms, facilities and availability on the current listing. Report an error to management@portugalactive.com with the page and proposed correction. Material changes should update copy, sources and review date together.
Tools and editorial independence
Checklists and tables help prepare decisions; they do not automatically approve a property or forecast performance. Readers can consult resources without submitting contact details. Alternatives should be compared using stated criteria; our commercial content is not an independent market ranking.
