The institutional author is Portugal Active. We do not assign articles to individual specialists or claim professional review that has not occurred. Guides do not replace an on-site assessment, a contract or legal, tax and technical advice on a specific situation.
What counts as a source
Property features come from public listings and the catalogue behind them. Regulatory context points to official sources. Operating criteria and checklists are editorial assessment proposals, not certification that each property follows a particular procedure.
Results and examples
We do not publish income-uplift, occupancy or retention percentages without a verifiable period, population and method. Financial examples are identified as hypothetical. Revenue, operating balance and yield have different definitions; costs must not be counted twice.
Collection, partners and management
A bookable home may belong to a partner collection. This does not prove direct Portugal Active operation or management coverage throughout a region. Cards identify partner examples and any management proposal confirms its service scope.
Updates and corrections
Each page displays its review date. Confirm booking terms, facilities and availability on the current listing. Report an error to management@portugalactive.com with the page and proposed correction. Material changes should update copy, sources and review date together.
