Riverside Watermill

The watermill has stood on the Coura for three hundred years; the four stone houses around it were restored to keep every wall that mattered. Together they sleep twenty across nine bedrooms — one estate, one long table, one river.

The private river beach is the property's quiet superpower: safe, clear water metres from the door, the only access being yours. Air conditioning, fireplaces and board games cover the seasons; the barbecue covers the evenings.

Vilar de Mouros — home of Portugal's oldest music festival — is the village; Caminha is five kilometres, the Atlantic ten.
