Dunes Beach House is a brand-new contemporary villa, completed in 2026, set literally within the dunes of Amorosa, in Chafé. Two hundred metres from the beach, its white minimalist architecture, anthracite frames and floor-to-ceiling glass bring Atlantic light into every room. Three double bedrooms sleep up to six guests in comfort: two with private en-suite bathrooms finished in large-format porcelain, bidet and walk-in shower, and a third equally well-appointed room. Living areas and the kitchen open onto the outside via sliding doors, flowing naturally onto the deck and the a private pool. Behind them, the property's own dune rises with wild flowers and a timber staircase climbing to a viewpoint where the Atlantic unfolds at sunset.

The Atlantic coast at its most untouched

Chafé is a small coastal village between Viana do Castelo and Esposende, where the horizon is always ocean and the air always tastes of salt. Praia da Amorosa, steps away, is one of the most unspoiled stretches of the Minho coast: long sands, high dunes and clean waves that roll in without warning. For a livelier beach experience, Viana do Castelo is seven kilometres away, with its historic centre, Cabedelo beach and early-morning fish market. Coastal trails thread through dunes and pine forest, swapping between the quiet of the sands and wide open sea views, with the Serra d'Arga rising green to the east.

Viana do Castelo is seven kilometres away, with supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies and the historic centre reachable in under ten minutes by car. The A28 motorway connects easily at the nearest roundabout, putting Porto within an hour or Galicia within forty minutes. Viana do Castelo train station, with direct connections to Porto and Braga, is around eight kilometres away. Private parking for two vehicles is available on site. Porto Airport is approximately 65 km away.
