Abreu Retreat Palace

Charming and spacious house with a gorgeous and huge garden. The pool and the tennis court were very good as well. Very quiet area but at walking distance to a big supermarket and to a snack bar.

Magnifique domaine. Le jardin est exceptionnel, la piscine est immense, et le tennis a été refait récemment. Nous avons passé une superbe semaine à 2 familles. Le village autour n'a pas d'intérêt, mais on l'oublie vite une fois dans le domaine. La cuisine pourrait être mieux équipée et refaite. Il n'y a bizarrement pas de machine à laver...mais c'est bien fait au supermarché à 1mn.

The property is gorgeous, even more beautiful than the pictures. Really great for a family of 10 people. Well maintained and very high end. The location appears remote on a map but in fact there are amenities all around, Uber is available, and Guimares is close and has lots of entertainment. We didn't mind the location as a trade-off for the size of the property. Host was very responsive, but check in procedure was very annoying, requiring me to obtain selfies with IDs from 10 guests prior to

We had an amazing stay as a group of 8 adults. The house and grounds were much bigger than even the pictures looked, and it was a perfect place for a large group to stay. Bedrooms were spacious, clean, with blackout shutters for a good nights sleep. The tennis court was great, and they had recently replaced the equipment which a previous review had mentioned was damaged. The location is very private, with a supermarket 2 minutes away.
