Saltwind Studio

Saltwind Studio sits on the Cabedelo peninsula, a compact apartment built around a bright living room with dining table, sofa bed and balcony. The bedroom holds a double bed and built-in closets with its own balcony access, and the bathroom keeps a proper bathtub alongside an LED-backlit mirror. The kitchen is fully equipped, from oven to dishwasher, so cooking with market fish is straightforward.

Cabedelo Beach is a short walk away, its Atlantic swell known to surfers, kitesurfers and windsurfers, backed by century-old pine groves and the mouth of the Lima River. From the balcony, Monte de Santa Luzia rises across the water, crowned by the Sacred Heart of Jesus Sanctuary, one of Minho's landmarks. Restaurants serving Minho coast seafood and small local shops sit within easy reach.

Mornings suit coffee on the balcony before the wind picks up along the beach; evenings call for a glass of wine as the light catches the Monte. Warm afternoons drift between café terraces and sand.
