Set within Quinta de Parada do Vez, this two-bedroom house pairs contemporary design with genuine comfort. Both bedrooms have private bathrooms, and the open living space centres on an indoor fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside, a private pool, garden and barbecue area sit alongside a sauna and hot tub, with air conditioning and a small gym completing the house.
Arcos de Valdevez's historic centre, with its restaurants, cafés and shops, is a few minutes away. The Vez River runs close by, and the wooden Passadiços das Lagoas do Vez walkway, river beaches and trails into Peneda-Gerês National Park are all within easy reach, along with the ancient hilltop site of Citânia de Santa Luzia.
Mornings suit coffee on the patio with the hills still in shadow, then a walk along the river before the day warms. Afternoons might mean the pool or a drive into the national park; evenings call for the sauna and hot tub, then dinner cooked with produce from the local market, eaten by the fire.

"This place was absolutely stunning, we felt lucky we found it available. The place had style and felt luxurious, and we immediately felt pampered. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. The sauna (and fireplace) were by far our favorite parts of the stay. It heated up quickly and the entire place felt very clean (including the jacuzzi). The private backyard was gorgeous with the beautiful lemon tree right outside the master bedroom. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking and the bedrooms/bat"
