São Julião Retreat pairs a three-bedroom main house with a furnished annex holding a double bedroom, its own bathroom and a sofa-bed lounge, giving four bedrooms and four bathrooms across the estate. Inside, high ceilings and an indoor fireplace sit alongside a fully equipped kitchen and dining table for gathering the group.
The property sits in the countryside near Ponte de Lima, in the Minho region, where green hills roll out toward the mountains and walking and cycling trails thread through the surrounding villages.
Days start on the terrace with coffee and mountain views, and slow down by afternoon at the outdoor pool or the garden loungers. Evenings mean barbecue dinners outside, then the jacuzzi under the stars or the fireplace lit against the Minho chill.

"Vidunderligt sted! Vi havde den dejligste uge med vores børn. Stort og rent og rummeligt hus med ren og velholdt pool. Haven med frugter var fantastisk. Kommunikationen var meget god, og vi havde god hjælp og kontakt med udlejer. Vi vil meget gerne tilbage."

"Die Unterkunft von Portugal Active ist eine sehr schöne Möglichkeit abzuschalten und Sonne und Natur zu genießen. Wir haben uns nie gelangweilt, auch wenn es abends gewittert hat. Man konnte innen sowie außen in großen Gruppen sitzen. Wir würden uns freuen, wenn wir nochmal kommen könnten und möglicherweise auch weitere Unterkünfte von Portugal active verteilt im Land kennenlernen."
