This townhouse sits in the heart of Viana do Castelo, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms for up to eight guests. A garden with BBQ grill and outdoor seating opens off the house, and an indoor fireplace gives the living space its winter centre. City and garden views frame the rooms, and a private entrance keeps the house self-contained.
The Minho region unfolds from the doorstep. Supermarkets and local restaurants are a short walk away, along with a river beach and an ecological park, while the historic downtown and its museums and shops sit close by.
Mornings start with coffee and a walk down to the river beach before the town wakes properly. Evenings belong to the garden — something on the grill, plates passed round the outdoor table, then the fireplace lit as the air cools.

The house is very nice! There is plenty of space for everyone, and it is not cold inside. There is a beautiful small courtyard with grapevines. The hot water pressure in the bathroom is good. The beds are large. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made cooking convenient. Thoughtfully, there were enough capsules for the dishwasher and washing machine. The only downside is that the house is next to the road, which made it a little noisy to sleep. Otherwise, the house is wonderful.

It should be noted that while parking is free, it’s in neighbourhood streets. Sometimes it takes several rounds to find a spot!
