Heritage Loft

Heritage Loft I occupies a stylish duplex in the heart of Guimarães, with a queen bed tucked on the mezzanine and a bright lower floor holding a sofa, TV, dining table and fully equipped kitchenette. The bathroom is spacious and contemporary, with a walk-in shower, and wooden details and natural light give the whole apartment a warm, lived-in feel. It sleeps up to three.

You're inside Guimarães' UNESCO-listed historic centre, cobbled streets away from the Castle, the Ducal Palace and Largo da Oliveira. Parque de Camões parking is an 8-minute walk, the railway station about 15, and local buses stop nearby for onward trips around the Minho.

Mornings start with coffee at the dining table as light comes through the windows, before a short walk out into the old town's cafés and squares. Evenings are for wandering back through quiet cobbled lanes past centuries-old monuments to the loft's calm.
