Is the beach in the city centre?
The municipality has several beaches. Cabedelo is on the southern bank of the Lima; choose your home and transport around your preferred beach.
Can I stay without a car?
A city-focused stay can work on foot and by public transport. Arrange journeys if combining beaches, countryside and several towns.
Which airport should I choose?
Porto (OPO) is the main option; also compare Vigo (VGO), including the journey to your home.
How many nights should I stay?
Three nights give you two full days for town and coast. Five or seven add room for the Lima valley and other outings.
What is there beyond the beach?
Santa Luzia, Gil Eannes, the Costume Museum and Urban Ecological Park make for very different days.
