Do I need a car?
It helps combine outings. You can also arrange transport and meals in advance for a stay more centred on your home.
How many nights should I stay?
Three to discover one base; five or seven to enjoy more time at home and nearby.
Does Comporta mean walking to the beach?
Not necessarily. Check each home’s village, road and route to the beach entrance.
Can I include the Rota Vicentina?
Yes, as a planned extension. Choose the stage and difficulty: the Fishermen’s Trail is linear and demanding; circular routes have their own conditions.
Are there experiences beyond wine?
Yes: olive oil at Marmelo, table grapes at Vale da Rosa and cultural programmes in Ferreira, by arrangement.
