The historic centre of Viana do Castelo is 10 minutes by car, while the Northern Coastal Ecotrail and the Sanctuary of Santa Luzia are both within easy reach, along with local cafés and restaurants serving typical Minho fare.

Mornings start with coffee on the terrace, sea air drifting in before a walk down to the beach or along the dunes. Afternoons suit cycling the coastal paths or driving into Viana do Castelo for museums and shopping.
