NiT (New in Town), one of Portugal's leading lifestyle and tourism publications, featured the Portugal Active Ocean Lodge in an in-depth piece by journalist Patrícia Naves. The article highlighted the property's location in Vila Praia de Âncora, set within more than eight thousand square metres of land and just 1,200 metres from the beach.

What captured the journalist's attention was the property's private river access, which allows guests to reach nearby beaches via kayak, stand-up paddleboard, or surfboard within 15 minutes. The article emphasised the experiential offerings that come with every stay: on-demand services including a private chef, massage therapy, fitness training, and yoga instruction.
