When our guests are asked to describe the SUP Sun Experience in a single word, the answer is always the same: magic.
The Stand Up Paddle experience takes participants along the Lima River, beginning at the medieval town of Ponte de Lima — one of the oldest towns in Portugal — and concluding at the beaches of Cabedelo where the river meets the Atlantic. Along the way, paddlers witness either a remarkable sunrise or sunset from the centre of the river, surrounded by the green hillsides and historic bridges that define this valley.
SUP can be adapted to paddlers of all levels, from complete beginners to experienced riders. Our guides know the river intimately and adjust the pace, route, and stops based on conditions and the group's experience. It's one of the most peaceful and visually stunning experiences we offer.
