<p>Loft 58 is on the Rua Capitão Leitão in Marvila, east Lisbon — the old warehouse district that has become the city's most interesting quarter without losing its industrial shape. Five bedrooms, ten guests, and, unusually for Lisbon, a private outdoor pool.</p><p>The architecture is loft-scale: high volumes, open plan, an indoor fireplace, and enough separate bedrooms that ten people are not living on top of each other. A two-night minimum makes it workable for a short city stay.</p><p>Marvila is where Lisbon's craft breweries, galleries and the newer restaurants have settled, along the river east of Santa Apolónia. The centre is fifteen minutes by taxi or a straight run on the metro, and the Parque das Nações waterfront is close. For a group who want the city itself rather than a base outside it, a private pool in Lisbon is close to unheard of.</p>
