## Questions worth asking

#### What does gross rental yield tell me?

It compares annual rental revenue with the asking price. It is not your take-home return: operating costs, taxes, financing and purchase costs change the result. We distinguish reported revenue from estimates.

#### Can I use the house and still rent it out?

Yes. Discuss your own dates and the management arrangement with us. The personal-use tool on each operating property gives a simple indication of the effect of reserving weeks; it is not a forecast of seasonal demand or a guaranteed return.

#### Do I have to keep Portugal Active as the manager?

No. Ongoing management is a choice. We can discuss hospitality, guest support, housekeeping, maintenance coordination and reporting under a separate agreement.

#### What if the right property is not in the collection?

Share your preferred area, budget, timing and intended use. We can discuss private opportunities and, where appropriate, work with our partner network on your search. Availability and any partner terms are confirmed individually.
