From the mouth of the Lima River to the wild Atlantic coastline, this private sailing experience is one of the most elegant ways to see Viana do Castelo. The 39-foot sailboat is yours — no strangers, no schedule, just your group, the crew, and the ocean.
As you sail past the breakwater, the coastline of the Minho unfolds: Cabedelo Beach, the old fishing quarter, the Sanctuary of Santa Luzia on the hilltop, and the open Atlantic stretching to the horizon. The boat is equipped with paddle boards, snorkel gear, and a full kitchen — stop to swim, SUP, or simply lie on deck with a drink.
A welcome drink and appetizers are included. For special occasions, a full gastronomic experience can be arranged on board with advance notice — think local cheeses, cured meats, fresh seafood, and Portuguese wines.

Arrive at Viana do Castelo Marina
Meet the crew at Cerqueira's in Rio, next to the Eiffel Bridge. The marina entrance opens for you — walk to the last pier, next to the pedestrian bridge, where the sailboat is moored.

Welcome drink and departure
Step aboard the 39-foot sailboat. Welcome drink in hand, the crew casts off and navigates down the Lima River towards the river mouth.
Stop 3·+45 min
Atlantic coastline sailing
Pass the breakwater and sail along the Minho coastline. Cabedelo Beach, the old fishing quarter, and the Sanctuary of Santa Luzia above. Wind in the sails, nothing but ocean ahead.

Swimming, SUP, and relaxation
