Competition

(General terms and conditions follow)

1. No purchase is necessary. Only 1 entry per person.
2. This promotion is open to all International persons aged 18 or over excluding employees and their immediate families of the Alentejo Adventures and affiliated companies, their agents and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.
3. Entries can be made by fully completing the sign up form on this website.
4. Alentejo Adventure reserves the right to disqualify incomplete or illegible entries.
5. The closing date for the receipt of entries is Oct 1st 2010.
6. The winners will be drawn at random under independent supervision and notified by email within 28 days of the closing date.
7. At its absolute discretion, Alentejo Adventures reserves the right to award a prize to an alternative person if a winner cannot be contacted after all reasonable attempts to do so.
8. The winner is entitled to: 3 nights in Casa Da Eira. Flights and Tranfers. The prize holiday must be taken during the months of October through to March 2011. All holidays are also subject to booking date availability.
9. The prize includes spending money  – 100 euro cash to be received on arrival.
10. No cash or other prize alternatives are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Alentejo Adventures reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value. Unless agreed in writing by the promoter the prizes can only be awarded to the winners in person. Once booked by the winners all dates and names are final and cannot be changed
11. The winner may be required to participate in unpaid, reasonable publicity relating to or in connection with this prize draw.
12. The holiday prizes are provided by an independent third party and are therefore subject to their terms and conditions.
13. The winners’ names and counties can be obtained by sending an SAE to Alentejo Adventures, Estrada Nacional 393, Km 6, Apartado 123 7645-909 Vila Nova de Milfontes Portugal.
14. Alentejo Adventures’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize draw may appear in other promotional materials.
15. For the purposes of these terms and conditions the Promoter shall be Alentejo Adventure, Estrada Nacional 393, Km 6, Apartado 123 7645-909 Vila Nova de Milfontes Portugal.

General

Use of this website (www.portugalactive.com) and the services provided via it are conditional upon you accepting the following terms and conditions.  Unless otherwise specified, your acceptance of this User Agreement shall be indicated by your use of and/or registration on this website is provided by Alentejo Adventures and its suppliers.

These terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy form our entire agreement with you in respect of non-chargeable use of this website and supersede any prior agreement or arrangement with you.  If a company name is inserted in your registration request, then the User Agreement shall be between us and that company and accordingly unless the context otherwise requires, references to “you” and “your” in this User Agreement shall also be to that company.

Any changes to this User Agreement will be posted on this page.

Availability

We will endeavour to ensure that this website is available 24 hours per day without any interruptions.  However, we reserve the right to make this website unavailable at any time or to restrict access to parts or all of this website without notice.  This website is a general information service.  We will endeavour not to make it misleading, but we cannot represent that the information accessible on or via the website is accurate, not-misleading, complete or up to date.

Use

This website is designed for your personal, non-commercial use and you must not use it in any other way without our consent.  Except as permitted under applicable law, you must not use, copy, translate, publish, licence or sell this website or any materials or information on the website or the structure, overall style and program code of this website without our consent.  If you wish to make a request for consent, please contact us.

Our Liability

Since a substantial part of this website is both free and available to all, it is a condition that your use of this website is at your own risk.  We shall not be liable to you or in breach of this User Agreement for any delay or failure to perform any obligation if the delay or failure is due to a cause beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, the blocking or restricting of information to and/or from our network. Except as expressly provided in this User agreement, we disclaim any further representations, warranties, conditions or other terms, express or implied, by statute, collaterally or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties, conditions or other terms of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose or reasonable care and skill. Save as provided below, we disclaim all and will not be liable in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence) or otherwise arising in connection with this User Agreement or this website for: (i) consequential, indirect or special loss or damage; or (ii) any loss of goodwill or reputation; or (iii) any economic losses (including loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings), in each case, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage and howsoever incurred. Our maximum liability to you in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence) or otherwise arising in connection with this User Agreement or this website shall be limited to £50.  Notwithstanding any other provision of this User Agreement, we will be liable to you without limit for any death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Small Print

Either of us may terminate this User Agreement at any time.  You may not transfer any of your rights or delegate any of your obligations under this User Agreement without our prior written consent.  If we fail to enforce any provision of this User Agreement, that failure will not preclude us from enforcing either that provision (or any similar provision) on a later occasion.  Nothing in this User Agreement shall confer on any third party any benefit or the right to enforce any term of the User Agreement.  Nothing in this User Agreement affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
